At this year's INiTS award 2016, research that was conducted between BOKU and the cellchipgroup at the Vienna University of Technology on the integration of intelligent protein-based surface coatings in diagnostic microfluidic systems (so-called Lab-on-a-Chip systems) was awareded 2nd place. We gratulate our colleague Martin Frauenlob who has recently left us for a PhD programme at Hokkaido University in Sapporo.
